Video on Tooth Brushing for Kids
Dental care for your child is as important as caring for the rest of his body. In the initial days, a toddler may not be able to brush his own teeth properly. You may have to help your kid brush his teeth. Wherever the water is fluoridated, fluoride tooth paste is not recommended for very young children (younger than 3 yrs old) and parents should brush their child's teeth with fruit flavoured fluoride-free tooth paste. Small sized tooth brushes with soft bristles are suitable for young children. Fluoride tooth paste can be used once the child is able to spit out the tooth paste completely. Once the child has a full set of primary teeth, ten minutes of brushing is recommended every time. Parent should supervise brushing until their child is eight years old.
