My wife is seven weeks pregnant with our first child. I was wondering how safe it is for us to have sex during this pregnancy. Can any fathers please help me out?

We had the same doubts when my wife was expecting. When we asked her doctor, she advised us to avoid having sex during the first and third trimesters as this may hamper the pregnancy. She said it was alright to have intercourse during the second trimester. Hope this helps.
