Both my husband and I hold full time, challenging jobs which call for working late hours. This leaves us with no time in helping our 11 year old daughter with her homework. She too never used to complain but recently I found that she has difficulty in comprehending what has been taught to her. This makes it difficult for her to do the homework assigned and she sometimes skips doing it. The teacher called me up and told me about this problem. Please help. I am really worried. :(

You can appoint good tutor for your daughter. But even you and your husband need to spend more quality time with her. I guess that should help.

I feel you should look for a lesser demanding job and spend more time with your child trying to understand the areas he needs your help. If you cannot do this, I think the only way out is to get a tutor come over home and help him with his studies. You can ask the tutor to run through the portions that have been taught to you daughter in school and help her with homework.
