Tomorrow is my four year old's first day at school. He has never been away from us till now. Although both of us are working, he was being looked after by his grandparents. I am afraid he will start crying and making a fuss when I drop him in his classroom. Can anyone suggest some ways I can tackle this problem?

I can understand you very well. It is indeed painful to leave your little one wailing at her classroom door. You can try giving her a hug and a kiss. Assure her that you will be back soon. Keep a small object of yours like a handkerchief in her bag which will be comforting to her.
