I am due for my first IVF cycle towards the middle of next week. When I had a hysterosonogram last week, the doctor told me that there was a fibroid in my uterine cavity towards the bottom of the uterus. I would like to know if it is safe to proceed with the IVF with the fibroid. I am anxious to get started on IVF since I can't wait to see my baby.
When I went for my last ultrasound, the doctors detected an 18mm fibroid in my uterine wall which has not got into the endometrium lining. So she felt it would not interfere with my IVF. She also suggested having another sonohysterogram being done before starting IVF to ensure that the fibroid has not grown. I was a little worried also about going through a cycle that might end bad because of the fibroid. But the doctors seemed it okay to go ahead. I am still eagerly waiting!
For IVF ill recommend good option is ADIVA hospital.
