Hi, my husband and I work full time. It is not possible for either of us to get our inlaws to take care of the child. So we had put him in a day care which is on the way to my office. Recently, a new day care was started nearer to our house and my neighbours told me that they were happy with it for their children. So I thought it would be a good idea for me to put my 18 months old toddler there. I moved her over there on Monday. It is four days today and the daycare people tell me that she cries all day. I am quite worried as she never used to do this in the old day care. Can anyone please advise me what I should do?

Selecting a good day care is very essential. My kid goes to Mother's Pride Daycare and I am very satisfied with them

don't worry..children takes time in adjusting in new environment. You should give her some more time.. and tell the people at day care about her likes and dislikes.. her fav games, toys.. this will help her in adjusting soon.. Or buy some toys for her.. with which she can play at day care center. I recently purchased some toys for my daughter too..

Dear Parent, It is very normal for the child to cry or be uncomfortable for a few days as this is a new day care for him. Give him a few days and if the day care care staff and the ambience is child friendly and loving , he /she will be very happy there. Look for a day Care which gives a little more personal attention to your child- Anamika from Giggles Day care , Gurgaon

I think you should wait for a week. The crying will usually be because she is unfamiliar with the new surroundings. However, I think she will settle in soon and once again be your cheerful bubbly toddler. If the crying continues after a week, you may as well put her back in the old daycare.
