I am in my 23rd week and near the end of my second trimester. From early this week, I am finding it difficult to breathe. I feel that the air I inhale is not reaching my lungs. I find myself breathing hard through my my mouth. Will this harm my baby? I have never had such a problem before.

Gasping for breath is very common during pregnancy. This is because your baby is busy pushing against your lungs or diaphragm. Your baby is getting all the nutrients that he needs and so there is no need to worry at all.
