I am 32 years old and have been married for the past 6 years. I have not been on any form of birth control after the first two years of marriage. And yet have had no luck in conceiving. My husband has no problems at all and is quite fertile. My doctor suspects mine to be a case of endometriosis. She has asked me to come for a laparascopy after 2 days. I want to know how I can keep myself comfortable after the procedure. Also, how long did it take for you to recover?

Drink a lot of water to flush out the gassy feeling that you may have. Laying in a slight angle with a pillow may be helpful. The good news is that you will get back to normal in about 3 to 5 days.
