Youngest Pillion
Cycling is good exercise even if you are not riding. The adult balancing the little monster on the pillion and madly chasing after the cycle gets great exercise!Won't you agree?

Balle Ball!
Aditi is very fond of ba (as she refers to balls). Scraps of paper and fabric get crushed and crumpled to become impromptu balls. In this pic a plastic bag t was thus honoured.I just teased her with a huge pumpkin/ squash my MIL gave us and it was so cute to see her have a go at pushing and lifting it!

Clowning around
We went to the Great Bombay circus with Anush and her buddy and were completely mesmerised. They had a mix of Russian, Indian, Chinese and African acrobats/ performers. A tad too lengthy on the whole, but each individual act was crisp and awesome. Not too many animals so that made us feel comfy what with animal rights being such a concern nowadays. Anush's friend was bored mid way but Anush wanted to go again the next day!!Instead, the next day, we visited Egg factory for an English breakfast an

Anushka's Letter to Santa
Anush wrote her first letter for Santa and placed it in the balcony in a stocking since we do not have a chimney. If we were to keep it inside the house with all the doors secured, Santa will not be able to retrieve it!! Now Santa has to work on a suitable reply. Anush and her grandpa went to the Aero Museum in HAL. Very interesting and engaging is what my father and his grandchild had to say about their space odyssey. Anush was talking about heat shields and parachutes and bomb planes and safe

Cake Walk
Anush and her thaathu visited the 36th Bangalore Cake Show. Anush thought that the Taj Mahal hotel replica looked like a mosque and nothing like a cake. She loved Humpty Dumpty and the treasure chest. Here are a few snaps clicked by her:My father rightly observed that these exhibitions make one feel ..." we also have cakes" given that they are not exclusively devoted to the theme and have gone rather commercial with all sorts of random stalls. While on cake, my mother made some delightfully yummy

Weekend wrap up
Had a cozy blogger meet with Shankari, Shruti, Sandhya and kids. I felt so at home!! The kids bonded instantly and we also had a cool craft session from Shruti. Apart from chatter, eats and gifts. I was so moved that Shankari remembered my post and quest for slates with wooden frames and got them for us! Is that thoughful or what!?!Went to Mainland China after years- enjoyed it thoroughly from the crackling spinach to the darsaan. My father who had introduced this place to me in Mumbai over a de
